History of Sampling

Here is a really cool site that shows the visual history of music sampling. If you type in a song or artist, such as 100 Miles and Runnin', it tracks songs from which samples were taken. In the case of "100 Miles and Runnin' ", it says that samples were taken from the "Honey Drippers" and "Rufus Thomas" (not just George Clinton as described in the lawsuit). The chart ends at 2004 and shows a significant decrease in sampling, but I don't know how much is just incomplete.
